Bend Open Streets INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE ON September 17th 2017.
This is an incredible opportunity for your organization or business to:

• Have a strong presence at Bend’s new initiative

Bend Open Streets goals focus on walking and biking, public space, community health and vibrant local businesses. Bend Open Streets is not a fair or an expo. Presence at Bend Open Streets and/or tabling must be accompanied by a fun, free, interactive and engaging activity. Challenge the body or challenge the brain. Hosts are encouraged to sponsor activities relating to their mission and goals as well as those of Bend Open Streets.

Perks: Activity space & direct interaction with thousands of people! Last year we hosted over 2,500 participates.

Local Businesses: $75
Non-profit groups: $50
Local Food Carts: $100

Activity Ideas!

The more goofy, fun, unique, inspiring, talented, enjoyable, memorable or creative activities the better! Activities must be FREE, interactive, engaging, and appealing to someone ages 8 to 80. We can help brainstorm!

• Human relays
• Giant chess, scrabble, Jenga etc.
• World records (jump-roping etc.)
• Bowling, boxing, basketball
• Magic shows or science experiments
• Shade zones, street parks, rest areas
• Sand castles
• Piano playing
• Photo collages of participants or street animation
• Mini ball-pits
• School– yard games (tetherball, hopscotch)
• Seed planting, garden art, taste testing
• Recycle art
• Bocce ball or slack lining (Park or trail portion of SSM)
• Yoga, Oula, speed & agility, fencing
• Ping pong, badminton
• Pillow fights or flash mobs
• Cardboard box castles
• Nature activities
