Task Analysis: Diving into the Language Opportunities of the NGSS
This task analysis process provides an opportunity for us to expand our understanding and ideas about how we use language when we are engaged in sense-making and learning science. This process requires we think about a small slice of a lesson. Every question on this survey is referring ONLY to the task below. For the ease and usefulness of the task analysis process, we need to think about how we use language at this smaller scale or grain size vs. a larger scale or grain size such as a lesson, unit, or curriculum.
