The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is a critical, life-saving healthcare program that provides 9 million children nationwide with healthcare coverage.

In Pennsylvania, more than 180,000 children rely on CHIP for their basic healthcare needs. However, on September 30th, 2017, a Republican-led Congress failed to renew CHIP and continues to provide little to no answers on the timeline for when CHIP will be renewed.
