LTMS Private Lesson Sign Up 24-25

One of the biggest advantages of being in the Lake Travis Band program is the availability of our Private Lesson Program. All LTMS band students are highly encouraged to enroll in private lessons. These lessons offer your child the unique experience of consistent one-on-one instruction that they cannot receive in a regular classroom setting.

These individually based lessons take place once a week on our campus before, during, or after school with a private instrumental specialist. We strongly encourage all of our students to enroll in private lessons, particularly those in the 6th grade. Lesson times range from 25-45 minutes. During this time, your student will have 100% of the instructor’s attention. These lessons will be geared toward helping your child become a truly great musician by teaching them how to improve their musical skills. While we as a band staff strive to work with each student regularly, we are limited because of class size and time.

We feel that private lessons are a wonderful resource that it contributes a great amount to the student’s musical success and creates more performance opportunities for students in the future. Lesson times are determined by faculty availability.   Lessons are scheduled during the school day when possible, but some lessons might have to take place before/after school once a week.
