Those people with teaching responsibilities often find that their courses include at least some components of training students in software development.  Would you be interested in receiving training in best-practices for teaching software?

Are there other topics in software development that you would like to learn more about?  Please describe them briefly here.
Are there topics in data science that you would be interested to attend a training course in, such as an introduction to machine learning?  If so, please briefly describe the topics here.
A workshop would consist of ~16hrs of training with class sizes up to 25 people to ensure one-to-one engagement with instructors.  If there is sufficient interest we may run more than one to enable more people to attend.   The training would be free to members of TVS, SMWLV and SSSC, and would take place online in 4x4hr virtual sessions.  Would you be interested in attending a training workshop? *
The workshops are normally led by one or more instructors with the support of helpers from the community to assist with answering student questions.  These helpers would receive training prior to the workshop.  Would you be willing to act as a workshop helper?
Clear selection
We are currently considering dates for these workshop(s) between January - June 2022.  Are there any dates within that range that you would PREVENT you from attending?
For scheduling purposes, please indicate what timezone you would be participating from.
