     We are excited for your interest in Aspire Mountain Academy! Aspire Mountain Academy is blessing many families with the Christ-centered education so many mothers are providing at home, but we are offering it in a group setting with inspiring teachers and providing an opportunity for students to learn amongst friends. We have tripled our enrollment since last year and are prepared to grow again this upcoming year! Filling out this form is not registering. Each family will need to meet an administrator before being admitted into the program. (You can meet an administrator at a Meet n' Greet at the park in the summer or by coming to observe a class during the school year.)

 We will be teaching principles and truths that align with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Your children are welcome to come if your family is NOT members of the Church providing they respect the beliefs being shared (as we will respect their beliefs). Do you support these concepts being taught in the classes?  (For OpenEd and Harmony, you will be able to get 80% of class costs reimbursed which covers the NON-religious portions of our classes.)

PARENT INVOLVEMENT 
We will communicate regularly with parents via email. We ask that you take the time to read these emails.

 Each class for children ages 8 and older will have regular homework. We will communicate this via email. Please support your child in completing the homework. (Most homework is daily reciting/reading our poems and scriptures for memorization, reading the books for each class (audiobooks or audiobook substitutes available for most books), and presentations (mini presentations for ages 8-11). Classes for 6-7 year olds will not have homework.

If you have a child in the 6-7 year old class, you will be asked to volunteer once per semester per child for each day. So if you have 2 children registered on Tuesday and Thursday, you may need to volunteer twice (once for each child registered) on Tuesday and twice on Thursday per semester or pay a $35 fee for each time you should volunteer.

If my child attends, I will support my child in doing his/her homework and I will read the emails.

If I have a child in the 6-7 year old class, I will volunteer once PER SEMESTER (or pay the $35 fee) to be a teacher's helper from 9:30am-1:15pm. (Younger children may attend the class with you as you volunteer if necessary if they are not too disruptive.)

DRESS CODE

*Sleeveless, strapless, or backless tops are not permitted. 
*Shirts showing cleavage is not permitted. 
*Crop tops showing the tummy or shorter shirts that show a small portion of the tummy are not permitted. 
*Pajama pants, sweatpants, and hats are not permitted.
*Pants/jeans with holes are not allowed. Any area that is distressed/frayed must be covered by a patch or other material. Distressed areas on pants must be minimal.
*Shorts must be mid-thigh. Skirts or dresses must go to the knee.
*No clothing with offensive logos, images or language should be worn including images of skulls.

I have read the policy and if my child attends, my child agrees to follow the dress policies and I will support him or her in following this policy. I understand that if my child comes to school in violation of the dress code, a parent will need to bring him or her replacement clothing.

HAIR POLICY

If hair is dyed, it must be dyed a natural color. (No pinks, purples, blues, etc.)  

For boys, hair must be cut above the ear and above the collar.

No mohawks or other extreme hair styles allowed.

For boys, no make-up or nail polish is allowed.


I have read the policy and if my child attends, my child agrees to abide by the hair policies and I will support him/her in following the hair policies.

PHONES AND ELECTRONICS

It is preferred that all electronics are left at home including phones, earbuds, smartwatches, tablets, etc.

If the student does bring electronics, they must be handed to the teacher at the beginning of class and remain there throughout the day. Smartwatches must be placed on focus mode and phones on do not disturb. We recognize some students struggle with anxiety or other issues. Therefore, students are allowed to use their device to communicate with his/her parent or guardian as needed.

If the parents prefer, students may wear their watches or bring their phones on the days we walk to the park during lunch and nature journaling. (The park is a 5 minute walk from the school). It may only be used to communicate with parents for something necessary. Phone or smartwatch screens are never to be shown to other students.

There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee to hold your spot in the class. (The registration fee increases to $65 on June 1st). After you fill out this form and meet an administrator, we will inform you within a week if there is a spot for your child(ren) at which time you may pay the registration fee to hold your child's spot in the class.
