Youth Ngage Kent is an organisation that support BAME Youths and young people. We help to develop their potentials and raise good role models in our community. Our projects include Employability Support programs, skills development workshops, mental well-being services and sporting activities for Youths and family members. We work in partnership with North Kent Police, Sported, KCC, Schools and other Community Organisations; we use sport activities as an entry point to community development and increasing social capitals.
The Group is formed to focus on Black Ethnic Minority young people and youth, but membership of the Group is open to youth of any political party, nationality, religious opinion, race or colour [ages 11-19 (up to 25years for youth with disability]
OBJECTIVES
• To organise positive activities for youth mental well-being and self development
• To develop role models and promote youth leadership
• To Provide Youth Employability Support and talent development projects
• To provide social, educational and learning environment for youth through sporting activities
• To encourage positive youth engagement and discourage postcode issues and gangs cultures.
• To provide opportunities for creation of various activities, projects and events that are youth oriented.
