Teknowledge Interest Form (Spring 2017, Westinghouse Academy)
Program Description
Learn to code with Teknowledge! Teknowledge’s after-school program starts in February 2018, hosted for the first time at Westinghouse Academy! The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, teaching coding through engaging activities and personal mentorship.

Coding is the closest thing we have to a superpower. It enables ideas to come to life.

You will learn the power of coding in Python (a programming language) via hands-on experiences to make animations and games, create custom art, and solve challenging puzzles. Learning will be done primarily through engaging mentorship (one mentor per every 3-5 students) and is led by Carnegie Mellon students and alumni.

Teknowledge is preferred for students in 7th and 8th grade but we welcome all 6th - 12th graders to express interest! Check out our promotional video for more information, and fill out this form to sign up. Signups will be accepted on a rolling basis, up to 20 students maximum.
