Reconnecting with your inner life in nature & community 

The beauty of nature can awaken our perception to know what is beautiful about ourselves. This retreat is dedicated to cultivating what is healing inside of us with the inspiration of nature and the teachings of the Dharma. 
 
We might also wonder how we can do this when the dominant culture reflects such depths of uncaring and harming. It is possible from the field of our inner connection to become aware of the habitual energies inside of ourselves that are part of this culture, to recognize them and let them go. Our awareness and the beautiful qualities become the field of deepening and liberation and we can offer this to the rebalancing of the world.

This retreat will be held in silence with opportunities to share as a whole community and in small group interviews. Dharma reflections will be offered in the morning and evening as well as guided meditations.

Dates:  October 1 - 5 , 2026 (arrival on Thursday, October 1st in the afternoon, departure on Monday, October 5th after lunch)

Camping space or dorm style accommodation. Rustic. All meals are included and will attempt to honor dietary requirements.

Base cost: $250 - $375 sliding scale.

Any amount over $250 supports a scholarship for a fellow retreatant.

According to the ancient tradition of dana, those who carry on the teachings of the Buddha are supported through the generosity of the community; this opportunity of dana to support the teacher, manager and cook will be offered at the conclusion of the retreat. 

ACCESS: This retreat is not fully wheelchair accessible though transportation will be offered to those who need it from different sites. This is a fragrance free space.
