2024-2025 MHEA Basketball: Prospective New Player(s)/Parent(s) Survey
MHEA Basketball is a Christian, homeschool, competitive family of teams for boys and girls ages 8 years through High School in the greater Memphis area.

This form must be completed by all players and parents who are interested in playing with MHEA Basketball during the 2024–2025 season but did not play with our program during the 2023–2024 season.

Incoming Upperclassmen Sitting Period

There is a sitting period for all rising upperclassmen (junior or senior) players transferring from a school to MHEA Basketball. If your player meets this criteria, check this box to indicate you are aware he/she may practice, but must sit out of games until November 23, 2024 for juniors and January 1, 2025 for seniors.
Player Fees & Expenses

To participate in MHEA Basketball, you will need to be prepared to pay the fees and costs listed below.

MHEA Basketball requires full payment of player fees prior to participation in any games and full uniform fee before uniforms will be ordered and distributed.

— MHEA membership registration – required for insurance purposes (~$40) 

— Player fees – typically range from ~$300 (10u) to ~$800 (18u). 

— Uniforms (~$150), optional apparel (~$200). 

— Travel costs in addition to player fees (minimum 12 nights in hotel throughout the season for three travel homeschool tournaments).

— Game/Tournament gate fees as required by host schools and/or facilities.

NCHBC Homeschool Tournaments

MHEA Basketball participates in three homeschool travel tournaments each season. If offered a roster spot for the 2024-2025 season, please indicate your commitment below to attend these tournaments.

NOTE: Only players who are committed to attend all three homeschool tournaments can play for MHEA Basketball. 

NOTE: Coaches and/or parents of other players are not eligible to take your child to out-of-town tournaments. Players must be represented by a parent at all travel events (16u/18u teams typically play at least one additional travel tournament in November or December).

MHEA Basketball is a volunteer-led, family-oriented organization. As such, we rely on parents and players to make each season a success. Many people serve behind the scenes in ways that are often unnoticed but are indispensable.
