VMeet is a one-year training program on sexual brokenness and the journey of recovery. The lessons will be delivered by Reverend Edmund Smith (ex-transgender pastor) of Real Life Ministry.
Here's what a VMeet Meeting looks like:
First meeting will be held on 6th January 2024. Thereafter it will be held once a month on the first Saturday of every month from 7.30pm to 10pm. The 12-month program is assigned to commence in January and end in December.

VMeet is run by Project SIMB (She Is My Brother). SIMB collaborates with a local church, the VMeet host, of any denomination to run the VMeet in the local church's premise. SIMB has worked with many churches in Malaysia and even in Singapore running the VMeet since 2004.
SIMB commits to work closely with the VMeet host for the whole year. SIMB works with just ONE church every year running the VMeet. The focus is on doing whatever it takes to raise Befrienders for the Sexually Broken in that church and to journey with Befriendees in that particular church's context. The VMeet is open to people from other churches who are most welcome to join in at any month of the year.
A VMeet WhatsApp Chatroom will be created for all VMeet attendees. Rev Edmund Smith and the RLM (Real Life Ministry) key servants will regularly update, motivate and educate all VMeet attendees via the chatroom. Rev Edmund himself had a transgendered identity and lived a homosexual lifestyle for many years. Today, as a husband and father, he travels extensively reaching out to people with sexual and relational brokenness.
The VMeet is great for:
• BEFRIENDERS (graduated from a past year VMeet) and SUPPORTS (non Vmeet graduated).
Those who are reaching out to the Sexually Broken (people with sexual issues e.g. unwanted LGBTQ tendencies, porn addiction, compulsive masturbation, etc.).
- BEFRIENDEES: The Sexually Broken who are serious about change and are going through the JOR (Journey of Recovery).
- Pastors, Church Leaders, Cell Group Leaders, Teachers, Parents and anyone who wants to learn about reaching out to the Sexually Broken. The VMeet is for anyone who is 13-years old and above.
Just a few more things:
- A SIMB booth will be set up at every VMeet for VMeet attendees who need to purchase SIMB materials and ask personal questions.
- A love offering for SIMB will be collected during the announcement time.
- December VMeet is Graduation Day. A graduation certificate, prepared by the VMeet host and signed by Rev Edmund, will be given to all VMeet attendees who had attended a minimum of 12 VMeet lessons. Upon graduation, the VMeet attendees then become qualified "Befrienders".
- SIMB wil video record the Meet Lesson to be shared in the VMeet WhatsApp Chatroom
- The VMeet textbook written by Rev Edmund will be sold at the SIMB booth at RM25 per copy for the VMeet attendees.
- All VMeet attendees are to pay a one-time RM50 registration fee on the first VMeet they attend.
