CRITERIA1. Graduating Calumet high school senior.2. Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a state college, community college or technical school. (Scholarship payments will be made directly to the school.)3. Applicants must possess an overall minimum GPA of 2.54. Preference will be given to scholarship applicants who demonstrate financial need.5. Preference will be given, but not limited to, students attending accredited colleges, universities or technical school in the state of Oklahoma.6. The scholarship can be used only as a credit towards books, fees or tuition.7. Must be a United States Citizen.8. Must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours per semester or part-time in a technical program.
The application process has 2 steps:
1. Read the Herman "Dee" Jameson Memorial Scholarship Mission Statement and criteria (above). After weighing these requirements and restrictions, if you feel you qualify and wish to apply, proceed to Step 2.
2. Complete the scholarship application (this form) and the FAFSA. Turn in the following documents to your counselor or mail them to Janice Garlett, 15805 North Maple Road, Calumet, OK 73014.
a. If you provided your email address on your FAFSA, you should receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) 5 to 7 days after filing. you must download and attach it to the scholarship application. Only the 2018-2019 SAR is accepted. We will NOT accept a copy of your application information, nor will we accept a copy of your submission confirmation.
b. Official high school and/or college transcripts (sealed).
c. A minimum of 2 recommendation letters from school counselor &/or other school teachers/facility, and 1 recommendation letter from a person of the student's choosing. (3 letters total)
