ON-FARM PICKUP (19715 Zion Rd, Brookeville, MD 20833) (Wednesday Pick Up)
Each visit, market-style full share members can choose 10 items from a selection of produce. We define the quantities typically in a manner that does not involve a scale. Unless we have limited quantities, you may choose multiples of the same item). Half share members choose 5 items. Full Share members receive priority in the distribution of berries, melons, mushrooms, ginger and sweet corn. Half share members will receive 1 item of fruit and full share members 2. For the first two weeks in June we cannot guarantee fruit.
FULL SHARES are appropriate for a family of 2-5, while HALF SHARES will feed a family of 1-3. Ranges depend on how much a family cooks and how many veggies they like to eat.
