Exeter Cathedral Voice Trials 2026

Use this form to secure your child's place on one of the two voice trial days for 2026. For anyone not currently attending Exeter Cathedral School, voice trials will take place on Saturday 24th January. Auditions themselves will be 25 minutes long, but your child will also have a warm up session and some waiting time, so each slot is approximately 50 minutes in total. Please aim to save the whole day as slots will run from 9am-5pm depending on the numbers. If a particular time window would be necessary for your family, please get in touch. We will try to accommodate you wherever possible. For those at Exeter Cathedral School, auditions will happen during the school day on Monday 26th January.

This form constitutes the only application it's necessary for you to fill in. Everything else we need to know about your child will be gleaned on the day! You will receive a copy of your responses by email automatically, when you have successfully completed the form. No later than Monday 20th January, you will receive an email from Eleanor Clark, Exeter Cathedral music administrator, which will confirm the time of your child's audition, including information about when and where to arrive on the day. In the case of siblings, we will endeavour to keep slots next to each other.

The results of the voice trials will be communicated to parents & guardians of all candidates as soon as possible, usually within 7 days of the assessment day.
