Al Otro Lado's Border Rights Project- Tijuana On The Ground Legal Support
This form is for attorneys, law students, and other legal workers who are able to travel to Tijuana and provide support in response to the large numbers of asylum seekers in Tijuana. We are asking that individuals make long term commitments of at least a week at this time. The first priority is to ensure that we provide the most accurate and up-to-date legal information about the U.S. asylum process and that we focus those efforts on the individuals who will be "called" next to seek asylum in the U.S. We are conducting daily pro se asylum workshops at our headquarters and travel to migrant shelters when we have the capacity to do so.

The need for legal workers at our headquarters and in the Tijuana shelters has existed for many years but the need is now greater than ever before. By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk.

You will be contacted by us to confirm your trip. If you have not heard from us, please be patient as we are actively working to reach out to all of you.

Thank you for your support. For questions, please contact volunteer@alotrolado.org.
