SRH Nurse Essentials Course December 11th 2018
This online application form should be completed if you wish to attend the next course to be held at Badger House on Tuesday 11th November
The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) recognises that nurses are the first point of call for many patients with sexual and reproductive health needs. Raising the subject and helping women to become aware of their fertility and the risk of unwanted pregnancies or STIs are important aspects of day-to-day primary care.

This one-day course has been designed to support nurses working in primary care or other community settings in this pivotal role and will cover the key information needed for you to safely raise sexual health matters in your consultations with patients. It will also give you the tools to think clearly and to know when to signpost or refer patients on for starting contraception, STI testing or emergency contraception.

This course provides an introduction for nurses who see patients with SRH needs. It is suitable for those who have recently moved into the role and who have little or no experience in SRH as well as those who have been working in the role but have only undertaken a small amount of training in this area. Following completion of the SRH Essentials course participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance from the FSRH.

The course will be held at:
Badger Medical Ltd, Badger House
121 Glover Street
Birmingham B9 5EY

on Tuesday 11th December 2018 09.00 – 17.00

COST: £150 (includes sandwich lunch and refreshments throughout the day)
