Breaking Through: Finding Common Ground – A Discussion on Privilege and Identity in America
Current events happening in our country from Tulsa to Charlotte, to sports arenas, and beyond have created a national dialogue about privilege and identity.  “Breaking Through” will provide a valuable opportunity for members of the Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF communities to come together, while also engaging with a captivating panel of campus community members.  Issues to be explored include: the upcoming presidential election, the Dakota Pipeline, race in America, gender equality and community policing.  All students, faculty and staff of the Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF campuses are invited. Light refreshments will be served.  For more details on the panelists, please read the press release: http://news.syr.edu/breaking-through-a-discussion-on-privilege-and-identity-in-america-96773/.

Presented by the ESF Student Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives Office and the Syracuse University Office of Multicultural Affairs.
