Official GDC 20/21 Registration
Thanks for your interest in the GDC!
The Game Development Club (GDC) is a place for learning fundamentals of Game Development and Computer Science. It's targeted for high school with any level of previous experience. Through GDC, you will be taught in an interactive manner that focuses on the user's experience and a hands-on environment. You will explore existing games, develop a plethora of small projects, and even create a fully developed game. The lesson plan is adaptive and you can work with friends throughout the club.
At the start, GDC meetings will be entirely online due to the ongoing pandemic, but later on we are planning to move in person to Mr. McLeod's room.
Will you be able to commit to weekly 1 hour meetings on Tuesdays at Lunch?
What grade are you in?
What's your current level of knowledge in game development?
I'm completely new!
I've released a game!
Would you be more interested in GDC Classes or GDC Teams?
GDC Classes: General lessons targeted for beginners in Game Development with Unity (but you still get to work with friends!)
GDC Teams: Game Development practice targeted for more advanced members
Do you have any experience in digital art?
We will be grouping members into separate classes. If you would like to be grouped with your friends, list them here. We will try our best to put you all in the same group, but they will be small. Even group sizes remain our priority.
Would you like your name to be included on the past members section of our website?
Any questions or thoughts you would like to add?
