Early College High School Report an Absence
* This form MUST BE completed by a parent/guardian listed in the student's file.

We will NOT excuse any notes submitted by student email addresses. 

Documentation for healthcare appointments, college visits, driver's licensing appointments, and other statutorily allowed absences require documentation in order to be excused.

Per RRISD attendance policy, all notes MUST be turned in within 5 days upon the student's return to school.  If a student is absent more than 5  consecutive days, a doctor’s note is required upon the student's return to school.  

Partial day absences due to healthcare appointments are excused from TEA compulsory attendance laws when the student is in attendance for part of the ECHS school day - a doctor’s note is required.
