Project description
Of this Earth: Songs of the Natural Reserves is a collection of songs on connection to ecological communities, located in the University of California Natural Reserves.

I create place-based, personal pieces that hold the specific, detailed ecology of the reserves. By bridging human experience and ecosystems, I seek to help people relate deeply to these ecosystems, sparking further engagement.

My doctoral dissertation at UC Berkeley is on forest resilience to climate change in the American West. Of this Earth weaves together my work as an ecologist and a musician.

Upcoming Events
I'll be performing songs from Of this EarthEmerging, as well as some traditional American music with members of Tuesday Tunes at the Friends of Sausal Creek annual plant sale, at their nursery in Joaquin Miller Park on October 25, 11am-1pm.

Thank you for your interest and support!

With gratitude,
Jashvina
