Indiana Boer Goat Association membership is open to any
individual who breeds and/or has an interest in the meat goat industry and/or
wants to support the meat goat industry through educational activities for
junior showman in Indiana.
A current, valid farm/family membership with IBGA is
required to attend, participate, and vote at meetings on matters relevant to
the IBGA. Individuals interested in learning more about the IBGA may attend any
meeting as a guest of a current, valid member. All members agree to abide by
the current by-laws of the association, as well as any rules and regulations
imposed by the facilities where events are held. Any member may request a copy
of the by-laws or review them on our website.
Current paid junior membership is required for junior
members to earn points and receive awards in the IBGA Youth Challenge Series.
Membership must be paid, and membership form submitted prior to the start of
the show for points to be awarded for that show. No retro-active points will be
awarded.
Membership is not required to be a spectator at awards
ceremony, shows or other events hosted by the club and is not required for
exhibitors in any open show hosted or sanctioned by IBGA.
Memberships are valid from January 1st to December 31st of
the current year.
