Eligibility criteria for applying:
1. The student must have scored in class 10: For State Board: 70% Aggregate or Above 70% in Maths and Science. For CBSE: Aggregate above CGPA 9.0 or A1/A2 in Maths and Science.
2. Student MUST be enrolled in Class 12 Science for academic session 2019-20 in a State Govt. School / Corporation School/ or a school being run and managed by the state government.

JDST Format:1. The test is of 3-hour duration and is divided in 4 parts - Part 1: Mathematics/Biology, Part 2: Logical Reasoning, Part 3: Physics and Part 4: Chemistry. 2. The test is in Multiple Choice Question format with 25 questions in each part.3. Each right answer is awarded 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.5. The test is based on the CBSE syllabus of Class 11 and 12 but this test is significantly more difficult than the CBSE.6. No calculators are allowed.
