How do I know what to pledge?

At Hillsboro UCC, we do not expect or require members to donate a specific percentage of income. Instead, we strive to practice a spirit of generosity and proportional giving. To that end, we offer this chart in the hopes that it may prove helpful in your planning. Using the chart above - find the corresponding income and percentage you wish to give at, then multiply that amount by 52 (for the 52 weeks in a year) to determine the total annual giving for the fiscal year. E.g. If one were to pledge 52 weekly gifts of $57.70 - or 12 monthly gifts of $250 - that would constitute an annual pledge TOTAL of $3,000. Ways you can give

One-time and recurring donations can be made through our church website at https://www.hillsboro-ucc.org/give. You can also go to the website for answers to other questions, or contact our Office Administrator, Laura Beeler, at office@hillsboro-ucc.org.

Common ways members and friends donate are:

By electronic transfer or "automatic bill-pay" through their bank

By check

Electronically through the website of the GivePlus app

By Qualified Charitable Deduction (QCD)
