GCS High School Media Release for Photography and Video Production Consent
Parents:  Please answer the following questions. You will need to fill out a separate form for each child enrolled at Gaston Christian School.

GCS recognizes its responsibility to ensure the welfare and safety of users and to comply with the Data Protection Act of 1998. Photographs and videos are used for a number of reasons including celebrating and recording students, staff, and faculty successes. These images or videos may be used on display boards, TVs, monitors, and GCS websites and used in newsletters, school publications, etc. Photographs and videos will only be recorded for representing the school and will not be kept for longer than is to be considered necessary. 

If there is a concern about the privacy of a photo or video of a student, staff, or faculty please signify on this form below. 

Students, staff, and faculty coming to the school naturally give consent to GCS to record and use images or videos in the following ways: 

  • As a tool to monitor and track progress 
  • Displays within the school 
  • School newsletters and other paper publications, e.g. class yearbooks 
  • Website 
  • General publicity (includes use by the local authority and for training purposes) 
  • Use by the press and other broadcast media
