Guidelines for Bronco Legacy Award Recipients
1. The scholarship recipients shall be high school seniors who completed fifth grade at Vineyard Ranch Elementary School.
2. Students may apply for the scholarship if they attend any NEISD high school that is a current member of the North East Council of PTAs.
3. As funds allow, two scholarships totaling $2,000 will be awarded yearly as funds allow.
4. Each recipient has two calendar years from the date the scholarship is awarded to request the money.
5. Each scholarship check shall be written and mailed directly to the institution of learning once verification of enrollment is received by the Vineyard Ranch Elementary PTA. Verification of Enrollment can be: a fee bill or an official proof of enrollment/registration from your learning institution. Recipient is responsible for contacting outside scholarship office at their learning institution to find out what information is needed for check to be sent from PTA (i.e. mailing address, who check is to be made out to, pertinent student information/ID/name, etc)
6. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic performance, extracurricular involvement, leadership potential, graduation from Vineyard Ranch Elementary School, and future plans.
7. Deadline for submissions is April 1.
