The 10th annual Charleston Beer Fest is among us! We are thrilled to be returning to Riverfront Park for the 2021 festival.

Homebrewer Information:

- The 10th annual Charleston Beer Fest is an annual charity fundraiser benefiting Palmetto Community Care.

- The festival features an epic line-up of Craft Brews, Beer Olympics Games, Homebrewers, Live Music, and more!

- Application does not guarantee entry. We curate the experience by selecting Homebrewers who will best suit the theme of the event and contribute to the overall event experience.

- There is a limited amount of space at each event. Applications will be reviewed every 2 weeks and Homebrewers will be notified of their application status.

- Paper applications are not accepted. Please submit your application online via this form.

- Attendance Estimate: 4500-5000.

- It is suggested for Homebrewers to bring no less than 432 ounces of their homebrew product.

- The annual Homebrew competition will live on! Participation is not mandatory.

Additional Info:

- All Homebrewers should deliver their product in coolers, that are labeled at their specific scheduled loading time. No vehicles will be permitted in the park after 11:00am.

- Participating Homebrewers will continue to sample their tasty suds with the crowd, and will also have the chance to submit their brews to be judged by a panel of top industry experts.

- To participate in the contest, all judging samples should be delivered to the backstage tent by 1:00pm. The judges will host a private tasting before announcing the winner of the event. You will be given an opportunity to meet and greet with the judges just following this scheduled tasting.

- The product you bring is donated and we'll provide you with 2 GA comp tickets in exchange for your participation. You'll need to have your own cooler and ice, which can be loaded in and stored before the gates open. If you end up needing ice throughout the event we will make sure you're taken care of.

- Homebrewers who cancel less than two weeks before the event will not be asked to participate in the 2022 festival.


- Homebrewers will be scheduled to present their product to the general audience either from 1:00pm-4:00pm or 4:00pm-7:00pm. The schedule will be predetermined and promoted to be sure your product is reaching a wide audience at the 2021 Charleston Beer Fest. We will alert all approved Homebrewers of their scheduled pour time by Thursday, September 16, 2021.

- Ice will be provided by the festival. Please bring your product cold.

- We will have a reefer truck for the afternoon presenters to store their product. Under no circumstances can anyone enter the truck without the accompaniment of a CBF staff member.

- We will have a golf cart designated to help load out leftover product and materials for the first round of presenters during the event. This cart may only be driven by a CBF staff member and used for festival purposes.

- We are also willing to help transport materials and products into the park during the festival for the 2nd round of presenters if you prefer to wait to load in closer to your presentation time. Please keep in mind that in order to participate in the competition, product will still need to be submitted by 1:00pm.
