Rising Civic AI Leaders Nomination Form
Aspen Digital and the Aspen Policy Academy are launching a new program for Rising Civic AI Leaders to educate newly hired state and local government employees in charge of managing the adoption and implementation of AI-driven tools. The program helps these new-to-government leaders find success in navigating the public sector and building a community of thought partners across the country who are ensuring that AI works for the people, in an effective and ethical way.

We welcome nominations from colleagues, hiring managers, and friends to identify this critical inaugural cohort of civic AI leaders! Nominees will be given a personalized invitation to apply.

Criteria

Nominees should:

  • Currently work in local or state government with responsibility for AI implementation or policy (e.g., procurement)

  • Be new to working in government and have been hired into government within the last year 

  • Have prior experience in an AI-related field within private industry, academia, and/or civil society
