GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
I Can! Arts and Resource Center programs and groups have first priority for facility use.  The Center reserves the right to refuse rental for any reason.  I CAN! also reserves the right to revoke use of the facility if the proposed function is deemed to be dangerous or damaging to the facility or grounds, or may cause an uncontrollable crowd situation, or would not serve the best interests of the facility and the community.  The use of alcoholic beverages and other controlled drug substances is strictly forbidden at I CAN!.  The use of any tobacco products in the facility or on the property is prohibited.  Firearms of any kind are not allowed on the property unless the person carrying the firearm is permitted to do so by law as defined in A.C.A. § 5-73-120.
1. The renter is responsible for all clean up, including removal of all trash, decorations, and other items brought into I CAN!
2. The facility shall be reserved a minimum of three weeks in advance.  Rental deposit of $100 is due upon reservation; the remaining facility rental fees will be payable in advance at least one day before the event is scheduled. The deposit is non-refundable.   Rental fee is $200 for four hours, with each additional scheduled hour at $30 per hour. We accept PayPal, Cash App, cash or check. Cash and Checks may be mailed to 1040 Angel Court, Little Rock, 72206.
3. The Rental Agreement must be executed by the Lessor and Lessee AND the deposit received in order to reserve a date.  No date will be held without the executed Rental Agreement and the deposit.
4. A minimum of three business days cancellation notice is required for all cancellations.  There will be a $50.00 no show fee.
5. The facility will open and close according to the contracted hours for setup, rental time and checkout.  
6. In addition to the regular fees and costs, the user of the facility will be held liable for all damages to the facility that occurs during the scheduled event.
7. Smoking is prohibited on the premises.  Lessee will be subject to an additional charge if he/she and/or his/her guests, employees or agents smoke in the building.
8. The individual and/or group renting the facility will assume all responsibilities and liabilities during the time of facility rental.  The Lessee is responsible for his/her guests, employees and agents and their observance of all rules and regulations specified by the Lessor.
9. The Lessor is not responsible for personal property and equipment brought onto the property by the Lessee and/or his/her agents, employees or guests.
10. A representative of I CAN! must be present during the rental of the facility.
11. The Lessee is responsible for moving in and removing all equipment and/or other items not provided by The Center from the premises.
12. No items, e.g., rice, birdseed, bubbles, confetti, glitter, rose petals, fog machines or sparklers may be used on the premises.
13. Only dripless candles or candles in containers may be used with the approval of the Rental Manager.
14. No verbal agreements will be honored.  Any addendum to the Agreement must be made in writing.
15. Not abiding by these rules and regulations could result in loss of some or all of the deposit, at the discretion of the Lessor.
 
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR GROUNDS
1. All parking is to be in paved designated parking.  Arkansas regulations for handicapped parking must be observed at all times.  Only vehicles with handicap license plates or hang tags, and transporting disabled individuals may be parked in spaces designated for handicap use.  
2. No inflatable toys, dunking booths, or carnival-type rides allowed unless you have received written permission from I CAN!.
3. All motorcycles and scooters (electric and motorized) are restricted to paved roads and parking lots.
4. No all-terrain vehicles allowed.
5. No open fires unless in authorized grill area.  No camp fires allowed.
6. No animal shall be brought on I CAN! property without written permission.  If written permission is granted, animals brought on the property must be on leash.  No leash is to be longer than 12 feet in length.  All animals are to be under the complete control of the owner/handler.  All animal owners/handlers are responsible for immediate cleanup and removal of all animal defecations.
7. A person shall not catch, injure, destroy, or interfere in any way with birds, squirrels, or any wild animals unless such animals are considered dangerous or in danger of being harmed.
8. I CAN! will not be held liable for any claims for injury or damages resulting from or arising out of the use of I CAN! facilities or premises.  By signing this contract, you agree to indemnify I CAN! harmless against any and all such claims, damages, losses, and expenses.
9. The person requesting the use of I CAN! must be at least 24 years of age. A photo ID may be requested.
