European University Cyprus Residency for electronic music artists to spend one month in Nicosia, Cyprus
The European University Cyprus, as part of the “Interfaces” project, is announcing a call for applications for 12 residencies for electronic music artists. The residencies will take place in July of 2018 and 2019.

The themes of the residencies and their expected outcomes are, therefore, articulated in relation to these actions. We particularly welcome applications where new media can be presented in public spaces, museums and streets as part of artistic interventions. Concepts that relate directly to Cyprus and proposals that aim to create new site-specific works are particularly welcome. Works that show connection to the “Living Museums” project as well as the “Urban Music Boxes and Troubadours” project will also be given special attention. Please visit website for more information on these projects.

Interested artists are required to submit in one pdf document their application and the following (please, provide URL):
1. current CV
2. copy of passport/ID document
3. list of technical equipment needed for the performance of the proposed works (Preference will be given to small setups.)
4. letter of intent not exceeding 500 words, in which applicants should provide
 a brief description of their goals for the residency
 their artistic objectives,
 their plan for the duration of their stay and
 a list of technical resources required towards the performance.
