Register Interest for The Price of War: Understanding Conflict Economics in a Volatile World
Thursday 2 November, 2023

CERGE-EI Foundation and Reaction's second Conflict Economics symposium, The Price of War: Understanding ConflictEconomics in a Volatile World. Last year’s event was moderated by Iain Martin and hosted distinguished speakers including Martin Wolf, Baroness Helena Morrissey, Prof. Stephen Kotkin, Prof. Peter Frankopan, and Merryn Somerset Webb.

From a financial and business perspective, how can we understand the developments of the last year to make sound strategic decisions? Given the historical long-term consequences in conflict economics, how should we interpret current geopolitical developments and how should they inform decision-making not just for the present but as we look toward the future?

This year's expert speakers will address these key questions ontextualize the discussion within the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine and the constantly evolving geopolitical landscape.
