It concludes on Sunday with 20under20 - a devised work created by 20 local artists in 20 hours. Each artist is under 20 years old. (Please note that Sunday's performance does NOT include the commissioned pieces.)

The Battery Factory (TBF) is a cultural reactor for local theatre artists in Milwaukee. Through production and presentation, advocacy and fiscal sponsorship, Battery Factory powers new arts opportunities and strives to better integrate the performing arts into all communities.

TBF commissioned four local theatre artists to create new works for Tessellate 2017. Maria Gillespie, Joelle Worm, ​Nabra Nelson, and Rebecca Holderness​ will premiere their works at this year’s festival on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 at UW-Milwaukee’s Kenilworth Square East Studios and Theatre.
