About the Program
Hack the Future is a program that teaches students from 9th to 12th grade to use their own creativity and the design process as a means to address problems that are important to them.
The program is focused on developing an intentional, rigorous approach to the design process while centering on student autonomy and agency in the planning and implementation of a project.
Through Hack the Future, teens will become full-fledged makers, artists, and technologists.

Mentorship
Each student will work with Assemble staff in a mentor relationship in order to set goals for their projects and check in with them on a regular basis to ensure their visions are being conveyed in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Applicants must be in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Participation in this program is limited to 15 individuals.

Frequency
Hack the Future occurs every Saturday from 4:30 pm- 6:30 pm, excluding major holidays. The program begins on October 7th and carries on throughout the school year.

Compensation
Students will be compensated a stipend of $14.50 per two-hour session that they attend.
By the end of the 30 sessions of the program, each student will be compensated up to $435.
