Volunteer Sign-Up - Rezduro 2023

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us this year at Rezduro 2023! We are looking for a range of volunteers this year. As always, camping and meals will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions we do ask that you come prepared.

DAYS:

  • Day 0 - Thursday, August 17th
  • Day 1 - Friday, August 18th
  • Day 2 - Saturday, August 19th
  • Day 3 - Sunday, August 20th

LEAD TRAIL MARSHALL (LTM)

  • Day 1 (8/18): 3 total
  • Day 2 (8/19): 6 total
  • Medical experience or training preferred (EMT, First Aid, or Wilderness First Responder certification)
  • LTM will be positioned to respond to medical incidents and attend to injured riders for the designated trail
  • LTM will be the direct communicator to Basecamp Safety Team lead Lavonne Biakeddy

TRAIL MARSHALL (TM)

  • General Trail Spotters
  • TM will be stationed throughout the course to monitor the riders and spectators
  • TM will be in direct communication with LTM in the event of an emergency

START LINE ORGANIZER (SLO)

  • Day 1 (8/18): 3 total
  • Day 2 (8/19): 6 total
  • SLO stationed at Dirt Tek Trail and Sunrise Trail will be responsible for organizing riders by CAT 1, 2, & 3
  • SLO will be responsible for sending off rider in (number) minute intervals
  • SLO will stay in communication with LTM and FLO volunteers of their designated trails

FINISH LINE ORGANIZER (FLO)

  • Day 1 (8/18): 3 total
  • Day 2 (8/19): 6 total
  • FLO will be responsible for ensuring the finish line and runway are clear of riders and/or spectators
  • FLO will stay in communication with LTM and SLO volunteers of their designated trails

GROUNDSKEEPER (GK)

  • Duties may include monitoring trash, restrooms, and managing water stations in and near Basecamp

TRAFFIC CONTROL (TF)

  • Day 1 (8/18) & Day 2 (8/19)
  • TF will be responsible for ensuring everyone parks in the designated areas
  • TF will direct campers to the available camping spots
  • TF will be responsible for directing traffic in and out of basecamp

VENUE SETUP (VS)

  • Day 0 (8/17)
  • Setting up tents, tables, and other event facilities. 
  • Volunteers will report to Marvin James

VENUE BREAKDOWN (VB)

  • Day 2 (8/19) and/or Day 3 (8/20)
  • Breaking down tents, tables, and other event facilities. 
  • Volunteers will report to Marvin James
