Associated School Librarians of Fairfax County (ASLFC) is a professional organization for all librarians, both current and retired, in Fairfax County Public Schools. ASLFC membership is also open to anyone else who would like to maintain a link with the organization.

Our purpose is:

To advocate for best practices that allow libraries and librarians to better support all FCPS students, staff, and communities.
To provide a forum where library issues can be discussed.
To support librarians in implementing American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and American Library Association (ALA) standards of instruction.
