LI Student Travel Awards 2019 (UK) Application Form
The Student Travel Award (UK) is given to students studying on a Landscape Institute (LI) accredited course, to develop their knowledge of a specific landscape topic in an area of the UK of their choosing.

Successful students are awarded up to £100 for a single trip, to take place by 31st Dec 2019. Travel should be extracurricular and can be in the form of a study-specific trip, or extension of existing travel arrangements for the purpose of study.

The theme for this year's award is 'transformation'. Students are asked to come up with an original, well researched and achievable proposal which outlines learning objectives around landscape transformations or the transformative effects of landscape.

NOTE: Please read the questions carefully. You will not be able to edit your responses after submission. Please see overview below before you proceed.

Q1: What is the focus of your proposed study trip and why have you chosen it? (approx. 400 words)

Q2: How does your chosen focus link to the theme of transformation? (approx. 200 words)

Q3: What research have you undertaken already on your chosen topic? (approx. 300 words)

Q4: What objectives are you aiming to achieve through this trip? (approx. 100 words)

Q5: When do you propose to travel? (approx. 50 words)

Q6: What is your proposed travel programme? Please provide key dates, where you will travel, what you will be studying at each point and any other relevant information (approx. 200 words)

Q7: What are the estimated costs of your trip? Please set out detailed costs for travel, accommodation, and any other significant costs (excluding food and drink), and provide an overall total (in approx. 200 words)

Entries must be submitted and received by midnight on Sunday 17th March 2019. Winners will be announced on Monday 1st April 2019. All proposed travel must be complete by 31st December 2019.
