The goal of LHSD is to continue to provide a quality education for our students, keep our staff and students safe, and return to a sense of normalcy to the maximum extent feasible under the unique circumstances in which we are all experiencing. Given the ever-changing guidance and health reports at all levels, we have considered many options as we move forward. The school board approved our reopening plan last night. Please review the REOPENING PLAN FOR 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR (July 20, 2020.) on our webpage at www.lhsd.org. Our main goal of any phase of our plan is to provide as much face to face instruction between teachers and students as possible because we believe the most effective learning opportunities are attained with this type of instructional delivery. In-person instruction will be 4 days a week (Mon, Tues., Thurs. & Fri.) with one day of online learning (Wed.)

To that end, we are aware (from our parent survey) that some students will not be returning if we are face-to-face and are only interested in online learning. We have provided multiple online/remote learning options for our students during the 2020-21 school year. Review the LHSD ONLINE LEARNING OPTIONS FOR 2020-21 (July 20, 2020) on our website.

Though we hope you reconsider in-person instruction, we need every student (after effectively discussing this over with their parents) to complete the following scheduling survey:
