Floating Cinema in Venice
The Floating Cinema is a special cinema on
water in Venice. It is called Cinema
Galleggiante. You can watch movies while
sitting in a boat.
Schedule:
The cinema is open in the summer. This
year, it shows films in the evenings from
May 25th to September 10th. Movies start
at 8:00 p.m. every weeknight. At the
weekend we offer two screenings, a
standard one at 8pm and a special one with family films at 6pm. You can see classic
films, documentaries, and new movies.
Boats: You don’t need to have your own boat. You can rent a boat there. If you have a
boat, you can also bring it and watch the film from it.
Tickets and Prices: Tickets cost 10 euros per person if you bring your own boat. If you
want to rent a boat, it costs 50 euros for two people, including the ticket.
Food and Snacks: There is a small kiosk where you can buy popcorn, drinks, and
snacks. You can also bring your own food if you like.
Important Information:
• The cinema is near the island of Giudecca.
• You need to book your ticket online before you come.
• The number of boats is limited, so it is better to book early.
