The "LCS Dream Team" has been formed with a mission to develop and implement plans to safely reopen schools and provide students with a well-rounded experience that addresses their academic, social-emotional, mental, and behavioral needs.  This will be achieved through a lens of inclusivity and with the use of everyone’s equity habits. Hearing from our stakeholders, families, students, and staff is important to us as we are all important members of the LCS family and the City of Lynchburg community.

What conditions would need to be in place before you would send your child back to face-to-face school?
Due to social distancing guidelines, we will have fewer spaces for students on school buses. Consider whether your student(s) might walk/bike to school OR if you would be able to provide/arrange alternate transportation so that our buses could serve those students whose families are unable to provide alternate transportation. Please indicate below your needs for bus transportation.
