Dear Friend,
Here's some information about our upcoming mission trip to the Hill Country.
The Basics
We'll be staying at Mo Ranch in Hunt, Texas and working on projects to help those who have suffered damages from the flooding in July 2025. We will also likely help out with some projects at Mo Ranch. Details about the exact types of projects will be decided soon and will be chosen to be appropriate for the skill levels of the team.
Who the trip is for
Individuals and families are welcome to sign up. Children age 10 and up are welcome to participate with at least one parent on the trip. If you have a high schooler who would like to participate without a parent, approval from our youth ministry is required first. If you'd like to take children under 10, please check with Mickie Allen or Julie Edwards, who is helping coordinate the trip. Each team member (regardless of age) needs to fill out a separate application.
W H A T T O E X P E C T
Team Meetings
Our team will have one or two meetings prior to the trip. These meetings will help us with building the team as well as working out details of the trip. This opportunity to serve God opens many pathways for learning, so we want to make sure we give God enough space and time to teach us.
Accommodations
We have reserved the "Milk Barn" at Mo Ranch for our team. There is a variety of different rooms and beds available in that building along with several shared bathrooms. Our total number of participants will be limited to the sleeping accommodations available, so once it is full we will not be able to accept any more participants.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please follow the instructions below and complete the online application. A separate application needs to be filled out for each person. We will be holding your spot once you submit the application. Payment for the trip will be due September 14th.
