As a member of the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County you can request to receive all official, legal notice and other business communications from the Master Gardener Foundation electronically by checking the opt-in box on the membership form. By electing to opt-in you are saving the Foundation valuable dollars in printing and mailing costs that can instead be used toward our grants. You will still be receiving the same information, just in electronic format. Selecting to opt-in and your signature on the membership form indicates that you agree to accept Master Gardener Foundation business notices and information electronically rather than hard copy, that you will consider all such communication to be adequate notice of Foundation issues, and that it is your responsibility to inform the Foundation of any change in your email address within five business days if ever it should change, by emailing change of address to
mgfclark@gmail.com.
Pursuant to RCW 24.03.009 (Washington Nonprofit Corporation Act), if the Master Gardener Foundation is unable to electronically transmit two consecutive notices and this inability becomes known to the Board of Directors or Executive Administrator, you are implicitly revoking your consent to receive electronic notice. Your signature on the membership form indicates that you acknowledge that the inadvertent failure by the Foundation to reach you does not invalidate any meeting or other action.
Your submission of this membership form indicates that you agree that it is your responsibility to configure your electronic mail clients so that such communications are not intercepted by a spam filter.
This agreement to receive electronic notification can be rescinded by written request at any time.
