I, accept membership in the MMI Drumline for my child and understand that I am responsible for all the policies as set forth in the MMI Rules and Regulations. I fully agree to review and encourage my child to be aware of their  responsibilities to the very best of my ability. In addition, I give full permission and consent to attend all band functions. Furthermore, I understand that I must meet all financial obligations. As a parent of a participant in the MMI, I acknowledge that marching and performing exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I, hereby release the Mississippi Music Institute and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees, subsidiaries, consultants, and affiliates, from any and all liability from property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from or in connection with my participation in any performing Events including claims that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, future or contingent. I covenant that I will not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against the Mississippi Music Institute and its officers, directors, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, arising out of or relating to the actions, causes of action, claims and demands hereby waived, released or discharged by me.
