The Turing Way - Themed Community Calls
Help us plan The Turing Way Themed Community Calls!

This form will likely take 3-5 minutes to complete and will be open for a response till "6 September 2021".

The Turing Way is a handbook to reproducible, ethical and collaborative data science. We involve and support a diverse community of contributors to make data science accessible, comprehensible and effective for everyone. Please read our resources online: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/welcome.html.

For 1.5 years, we have successfully hosted Collaboration Cafes to connect The Turing Way community members who contribute to different aspects of the project. However, we are also aware that new members and users need a different format of the meeting where they can connect with experts and core contributors to the project.

Therefore, we are planning The Turing Way Community Call Series to make sure that those interested in the project have ways to get involved beyond contributing via GitHub.
These calls will feature and celebrate the work carried out by our community members in _The Turing Way_ and beyond. We will also invite researchers, individuals and projects nominated by you to demonstrate their projects and build cross-community collaborations.

Please take a few minutes to express your interest to hosts a call or present something you are working on, or nominate someone you would like to invite to one of these calls. We hope to share more details in the next newsletter, and cross-post them on Twitter and Slack workplace. Find links to these resources here: https://hackmd.io/@turingway/demo-intro.
