Bits of Good Design Bootcamp Application

This is the application for the Bits of Good Design Bootcamp for Fall 2026!
The Fall 2026 curriculum is currently under construction but can be seen here.

A small description can be found here:

Design Bootcamp: A 12 week course on the core fundamentals of UX/UI and designing for digital products, where you will learn about:
  - User Research Methods and Frameworks
  - How to create User Flows and Information Architecture
  - Designing and Prototyping in Figma
  - Product Design Best Practices
  - Introduction to AI Prototyping and Future Industry Trends

Bootcampers will be working in pairs on a case study project that can be put on their portfolios by the end of the semester!

Meetings: Every Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM (in-person, mandatory) + Every Thursday, 6:30 - 7:30 PM (virtual and in-person, mandatory)
Total time commitment: 6-8 hours per week (about a 3-hour credit class, including lecture time)

Applications Open: August 13th, 2026
Applications Close: August 25th, 2026

Note: If you are accepted and join bootcamp, it is mandatory that you attend our BoG-wide Launch Party on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet other club members, get to know your project team, committee, or bootcamp class, and network with nonprofits!

Note on Application Evaluation: For transparency, due to limited spots for the bootcamp, we are factoring in effort put into your answers!
