Bristol Games Hub - New workspace survey
tl;dr version: potential new hub space, who's in?

Between 2013 and 2023, the Bristol Games Hub (and subsequently Co-op Mode) ran a games-specific co-working space and incubator at 77 Stokes Croft.

Home to the majority of our events, games jams, and parties; the starting point for some of the most established studios in the area; and the origin of a range of ground breaking and successful titles, the Bristol Games Hub was an essential part of our individual and shared experience of building games and games businesses in the area. Residents came and went, the space changed, but always with a focus on being the home for game development in the city. Partly due to COVID, partly due to some companies outgrowing the building, the co-working space sadly closed in 2023.

HOWEVER, there has recently been renewed interest in bringing studios, individuals, and freelancers back together under the same roof, and the possibility for buying and fitting out a space specifically for the needs of the Bristol Games community. This survey aims to gauge the level of interest in such a project, will allow us to present a business case to potential funders, and establish appropriate parameters in terms of the size and type of space required.

Most of the questions are optional, but the more information we have to work with, the better the business case we will be able to make. And don't be shy, the more we know the more we can fulfil your needs so even if you are in a really complex arrangement where you're working part-time and remotely on a secret AAA project, and one day a week living the indie dream, we want to accommodate you!
