Join the Aspen Institute Education Program for a conversation with Laura Slover, Vice President, Achieve, Inc., representing the Partnership for the Assessment of College and Career Readiness; Joe Willhoft, Executive Director of the SMARTER Balanced Assessment Consortium; and Dr. Michael Feuer, Dean of The George Washington University's Graduate School of Education and Human Development.  This will be a wide-ranging conversation on the proposed assessment systems that are intended to replace current NCLB-mandated assessments.  We will discuss the major differences between the assessment systems and their implications for states and districts gearing up for ESEA reauthorization.  A wine and cheese reception will follow.
