About Angela (In her own words): My name is Angela Rush and I am an Oakland Park native and self-taught, lifelong artist.  I go through stages of creating with different mediums but at the moment I work with abstract, mostly in fluid art.  Creating is my therapy, and I am very grateful to be able to share creating with others.

About Emmanuel: Emmanuel Gonzales has had a strong presence in the South Florida art scene since his graduation with a degree in Fine Arts from Palm Beach Atlantic College in 2001. He has a bold and edgy style fusing together collage, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and oils to create movement and energy. The resulting pieces are a balance of strong imagery and intimacy, achieved with an attention to subtleties often refined through detailed work. His body of art explores the past and present through realism and portraiture, and includes a growing retrospective of American icons where each piece is presented as a fragment in a larger American patchwork. More recently Emmanuel has been displaying his talents and delighting audiences by live painting at venues across South Florida, including the W Hotel – Fort Lauderdale and the stage at CityPlace West Palm Beach among many others. He has also created, organized, and participated in ART WARS, an annual interactive charity event where multiple artists are challenged to paint live, head-to-head against each other, with both the subject matter and the winner being chosen by the audience.
