2018-2019 Shepton PTSA Board Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in serving on the 2017-2018 Shepton PTSA Executive Board & Chairs. Duties of the Officers, Standing Committee Chairs, and Special Committee Chairs on the Executive Board can be found in the Shepton PTSA Bylaws and Standing Rules. According to our PTSA Bylaws, a current board member may hold the same position for no more than two consecutive years.

All positions on the Shepton PTSA board include two components – the task of the actual position and participation as part of the leadership team assisting with our PTSA’s initiatives. Board meetings and regular membership meetings are usually held once a month on Monday mornings.

The names of those interested in serving as a Shepton PTSA Officer will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee. After the Shepton PTSA officer positions are elected in February, all other Board & Chair positions will be appointed by the president-elect with approval of the newly elected officers. Names and contact information for volunteers who have expressed an interest in these appointed positions will be provided to the president-elect for consideration following the election.

The following officer positions will be elected by our membership at our Shepton PTSA Meeting on February 20, 2018. The Parliamentarian position will be appointed by the elected Officers following the elections. If you would like to be considered by the Nominating Committee for one of these positions, please submit your interest form by Friday, February 2, 2018.
