WHAT CAN "THE WORK" BE?"The Work" can be a single Art or Trashion piece. It can be or include an event. It can be or include a community service project. The work does not need to be new or created within submission period. It can be or include a demonstration of change of lifestyle or business practices (i.e. implementing ecobricking practice at home or an eco-policy for your business or the organization you might represent). It can be or include a campaign that you share with the public or your own circle of influence/ following. Please read the guidelines document (link below) for material limitations and rules. WHO CAN APPLY?We have two applicant categories, individual and organizational (collectives and companies). All applicants must fill out the form below and review the Guidelines document link above.
RE: Nominations - we are accepting nominations for this challenge for people or organizations that may have a piece of work, portfolio of work, or a campaign they are running or have run in the past that you think would qualify. Fill out the form best you can on their behalf, and we will follow up with them.
APPLICATION + WORK COMPLETION DEADLINESSubmission / Application period starts Earth Day 2018, Sunday April 22nd and runs through September 30th 2018*Final proofs of"The Work" must be completed by November 11th, 2018.
AWARDS AND PRIZESIndividuals who apply or are nominated are up for cash prizes, publicity, and an award from TechWears. $500 first place prize, $250 second place, and $100 for third place. Custom made achievement awards (from recycled material) will be given to selected top achievers of the challenge in the organizational category. Honorary Mentions will receive a digital badges and EMA social media exposure.
