Writer's Ink School Year Workshop Signups
Writer's Ink will be hosting its 7th year virtually, with workshops held online via Zoom. Our writing workshops are every Saturday from 2-3PM PST with students in grades 3-5 and high school volunteers across the country.

In our workshops, we cover topics such as imagery, plot structure, and dialogue through doing writing activities, watching short films, reading stories, and writing in groups. We try to balance lessons and activities with time for children to write stories individually as well.

Prerequisites: We ask that all students who sign up have basic computer skills and literacy equivalent to third grade or higher.

This is an example of a lesson we gave a few months ago on character development: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1So0RnoL-eaVeqDk9ukBbeTwtIONPANNHyc4Setm01FE/edit?usp=sharing
