Physical Therapy Intervention in Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis: A survey of the physiotherapy practice and its adaptations in 2020 because of the COVID-19 Pandemic
What is the survey about?
With this survey, we collect information about the practices used by physical therapists with patients affected from hip or knee osteoarthritis.
 
Why do we ask for this information?
Clinical Guidelines support the physiotherapy treatment for this condition. It exits evidence that some physical therapy interventions are more effective than others. We use the information from this survey to evaluate the  implementation of the evidence based clinical practice.

Why is 2020 a special period?
The pandemic of COVID 19 has affected the clinical practice in hospitals and clinics. It is possible that the physiotherapy treatments of the patients with hip or knee Osteoarthritis have also been affected but we need your information in order to confirm these suspected changes.

Who can complete the survey?
The survey is for all physical therapists (worldwide) treating patients with hip or knee osteoarthritis.
 
Practical Information
Filling in the survey takes about 10 minutes. It is not necessary to answer all the questions to participate in the study.

Anonymity
Participation is voluntary and anonymous. By completing the survey, you permit to use your anonymous answers. The answers of this questionnaire will be kept securely.

Data management
All data will only be used for this study. All data will be deleted after the publication of the results.

Ethical approval
The clinical research ethics committee of Aragon (CEICA) has approved this study and confirmed that the study fulfills the criteria of the Declaration of Helsinki on Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects.
